Coca-Cola Scholarship

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.

Application Requirements

  • current high school/homeschooled student attending school in the US
  • graduate during 2021-2022 academic year
  • US citizens, nationals, permanent residents, refugees, asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, and Humanitarian Parolees eligible
  • expecting to receive HS diploma during current academic year
  • planning to pursue a degree at an accredited post-secondary US institution
  • able to verify a 3.0 GPA in HS coursework
  • cannot be children or grandchildren of current Coca-Cola employees or retirees
  • cannot be international students with the exception of DoD students
  • cannot be temporary residents

Application Process

Round 1 (Opens August 2021, closes Oct. 31, 2021)

Round 2 (November – December 2021)

  • essays (info TBA)
  • ONE letter of recommendation
  • transcript

Round 3 (January – February 2022)

  • regional finalists announced, interviews

March 2022: Selections announced

March/April 2022: Coca-Cola Scholars Weekend in Atlanta, GA

Notes

  • For low-income students: CCS is a scholarship that does not have income caps. You are potentially competing with “rich” (middle-class or upper middle-class) or straight up rich people, who have much more impressive extracurriculars (and possibly stats) than you due to their financial footing. Do not be discouraged if you are rejected.
  • For middle-class students: Apply to this scholarship! Even if you think you have no shot, it’s one of the few large scholarships that you are eligible for. If you’re in that icky middle gap where you make too much for “low-income” scholarships but too little to be well-off without significant aid, fill in this application and do it well.
